TexturePacker support and polygon sprites (DEF-3055)

Would be great to have TexturePacker atlases support with polygon sprites.

Polygon sprites is great solution for better texture compression in big games where too much content (for example farm or citybuilders)

Could you post a sample texture packer json file for us to have a look at? Yes, I could produce one myself but trying to save every minute I can.

it’s fully customizable tool - user can create own format https://www.codeandweb.com/texturepacker/documentation
(I already asked TexturePacker developers why they have no polygonal algorithm in docs)

compared with unity default polygonal sprites : https://www.codeandweb.com/texturepacker/tutorials/using-spritesheets-with-unity

Example of unity export with polygonal sprites:

Any updates?
It’s critical for us since we use really(!!!) large animated sprites. Please.

Yes, we’re working on it, but not full-time.

Great! But even basic crop/keepcenter algorithm would make an insane change. =)
Thanks!
