Loading apps to iPhone for testing

Hello,

I hope that everyone is doing well. For a while, I have been using Xcode to load my apps to my phone for testing. I like it in the sense that I can simply drag the file into a window and ta-da, it’s on my phone. What I don’t like is how complex it is to get set up and how after every ios update it loses compatibility. Does anyone have any other methods in which they test ios applications on their iPhone? I would appreciate any insight, thanks!

I use the ios-deploy command line tool:

I use Apple Configurator 2, which has the same drag-and-drop capability. You’lI find it on the Mac App Store.
