Cannot install Defold on Windows

Is your OS 32bit or 64?

OS 32 bit,

32bit OS is no longer supported for the editor. You can still deploy 32bit game engine versions though.

You will need to upgrade your OS to 64bit (installing a version of Linux like Manjaro or Mint would be an easy way). For now you can probably still use an older version of the editor from a few months back before 32bit editor support was cut (for various important reasons).

Downloading old version of the editor

In the rare case you may need to downgrade or get a specific version of the editor. Try this version, I think it’s one of the last versions that still supported 32bit OS (Defold 1.2.145), but you can’t update it. And it’s possible other things might break since it’s an older version.

How about your system spec, if you do not have hardware graphics accleration, like OpenGL support, some applicaton simply refuse to run.

Install a 64bit Windows if possible.
