Zoom representation when camera component is orthographic

As of one of my Youtube comments:

Do you know wheter ortographic camera’s frustrum being always shown with the same size on the editor’s 3d view is a bug? I expected it to expand and shrink with the zoom factor, so it shows the area it covers…

I’m also interested if this is like this right now by design or is it a bug or is there perhaps a Feature Request for it?

The zoom should probably be taken into account. There is no feature request for this.
