What hardware are you using for development on Defold?

Any of you using underpowered laptops for Defold game development? I was thinking to minimalize my setup.

I’m using Acer Aspire 725 netbook(integrated chip-set with 128 MB, 1.5 GHz dual core cpu). It’s about seven years old at this point, but it’s usable, and gets the job done.

Now this is really underpowered. I’m thinking of getting a Laptop instead. I guess if it can run on a netbook it should run fine on an average Intel HD 4000 powered laptop.

Not aware of any issues that you can get from low-end graphical card, especially when you are making 2D game and using 2D game engine.
As for me it’s much more important to have SSD and enough memory (8-16 GB) than something else. Only if you are really having an old or low-end CPU/GPU…

Should have read more then just the header, but im pretty sure Defold will run just fine under a ”simpler laptop”.

Not a laptop, just old Phenom2 x4 945 3 ghz, Radeon 7870, 16 GB ram, HDD, Win7 x64.
