Subpixel option and performance

Hi, I just discovered that the game.project settings now had the option to disable subpixel. Not being an expert in rendering science I wonder if I should disable it. My textures are pretty high definition and my game doesn’t revolve around extreme precision. When I uncheck that box, my game runs fine and the gameplay and visuals are unchanged. Intuitively I was thinking it could bring a gain in performance, but I prefer asking to be sure.

TLDR : Does unchecking the Subpixel option increases performance?

Hey, the subpixel setting just says this:
“Check to allow sprites to appear unaligned with respect to pixels, checked by default.”

So it’s more of an alignment setting than performance setting, so it will not affect your performance.
