Steamworks extension is usable?

I found steamworks extension.

But on API documentaion page, “This extension is still in development and should only be used for testing.”

So I shouldn’t use this, then other tool is there?
I found old one, but it says to use new one.

Yes, the new one is fine. I am using it with a live game on Steam.

Is there any documentation for beginner?
I tried example, not works with Error initialising SteamAPI.

Example works. Add “steam_appid.txt”( includes just “480”) in build folder.
480 is sample number in Steamworks Documentaion.
