Sprite bug

hey im new to Defold and im following this tut,
unfortunatly Defold has almost 0 tutorials and info and its a pain to learn it . i think of dumping it for Godot just because their is a lot of info and tuts for it . but before i do that i wanted to hear what you guys have to say because i know Defold should be a good and easy to begin with but for now my experience with it is just awful …i wish i didnt have to migrate from unity but yeah…well fuck unity 4ever ,cant trust them

im only in the beginning i have only one sprite but when i try to run it there are 2 bugs:

I’m well aware Unity has orders of magnitude more learning materials available than Defold, but “almost 0” is not right at all.

Your specific issue
I clicked the link to the tutorial and it’s over an hour long. You will need to provide more context, e.g.exactly at what step this happens at.

I suggest doing the tutorials that are linked into Defold when you start it. New-project->from-tutorial ->Side-scroller,…

thank you for confirming my suspicion :slight_smile: , i found myself almost every link u said , most of them are irrelevant for being a years old or unfinished…

well thank you anyways …im really sad and disappointed because a really liked the engine itself and Lua but unfortunately it seems like hell to search for info on it …for this reason ill try Godot , i found a lot of long ,good, and trusted tutorials …

Interesting because I felt the exact opposite, I found that this game engine has plenty of tutorials and it’s really easy to pick up
