Sprite Atlas Not Loading

Hi

I have a few students that are using the platform to create a programming project. Initially they were developing from home, and now they have started accessing it in the educational settings.

They have copied the root folder that contains all the main files and the project file.
They can open the project in Defold and other components such as scripts etc are there.
However when ‘building’ the project, they get presented with an error of:

Unable to open sprites.atlas since it contains unrecognisable data.
Could the project be missing the required extension.

All files/sprites are saved in a folder inside called assets, but this error is stopping them from building their project.
Is there a simple fix that I am missing?

Hi @AC_Deeley !

I’m not sure why this happens. Perhaps you could share the project here so we could take a look if we can find something?

Apologies, how would you like me to share it.
If I give some insight what the students are doing.

They started working on the project from home.
They copied the root folder that has all their project files in and uploaded it to OneDrive.
They have then tried to open the project from the project file now stored in OneDrive and it comes up that issue.

Ill zip the files up and place it here?

“Ill zip the files up and place it here?”

Yes, then we or the community can take a look to help out.

Sorry, that was a little vague from me.
I don’t really know the etiquette for sharing files, whether it was upload, or a cloud service.
I cannot zip and upload, the file is too large.
Any particular cloud service I should use or?

Appreciate the help

Update: Included a link to the file:
