I exported the animation in the Json format. You want to say that, the Spine animation need to be created in Spine Tool Animation?
And what is the difference?

Internally the data is different. JSON is like XML it’s a container for any kind of data.

:neutral_face:As I understood, I need to buy “Spine”, or maybe is some way to work in DragonBone?

Yes, you need a Spine license. One time fee of $70 to get started with it. It is absolutely worth it if you are intending to make games professionally. I was a kickstarter backer for both of its campaigns and have used it a ton - highly recommend it.

It would be nice to get more support for the other animation tools, but probably for King/Defold team it makes more sense to deal with other issues first.

As a short term solution, maybe you could render frames of your animation in the DragonBone tool, and then use the flipbook style of animation for now.

ok…thanks !!

I am not quite sure though. Dragonbone supports exporting in Spine format. Shouldnt that work?
I would like to dive in into that and see if it cannot be solved somehow.

EDIT: Nah my mistake. It only supports importing Spine format into Dragonbone. Not the other way around.

I looked into the Dragonbones format a while back but it was very poorly documented. It’s a shame that the different tools (Spine, Dragonbones and Spriter) don’t support export to the different formats.
