Currently searching through the list of Input options in the Input Bindings window is a serious chore. They don’t seem to be in any particular order and, at least for me, it is pretty tough to track down the one you are after. It would be super helpful if there was some kind of basic search functionality to help sort through this list

I agree. We have several tasks to improve the input bindings and search is one of them.
