Render.get_width()/get_height() return window size instead of Display size after adding Rive extension

Level camera view without rive extention added

After adding the Rive extension to my project, render.get_width() and render.get_height() return the window size instead of the Display size from game.project. Nothing else changed, and my camera zoom looks different as a result.

Level camera view with rive extension added no lines added in render script for rive predicate even after adding those still same view

Printed from the render script’s update:

print("win", render.get_window_width(), render.get_window_height(),
      "design", render.get_width(), render.get_height())
print("cfg", sys.get_config_number("display.width"), sys.get_config_number("display.height"))

window render.get_width/height display.width/height config
Without Rive 640 x 360 2048 x 1536 2048 x 1536
With Rive 640 x 360 640 x 360 2048 x 1536

game.project is read correctly in both cases, but with the extension render.get_width/height match the window size.

Libraries: britzl/defold-orthographic is used in project so render script is orthographic one

Question: Is it expected for the Rive extension to change what render.get_width() returns? and how can I keep the Display size behavior?

No, this is not expected. Please open a ticket.
