This is just a little feedback for the renaming process in the Defold Editor 2.0. I’m used to using the Windows hotkey F2 for renaming the files that have selected, and I’ve noticed that the editor does not have this functionality. Yes, this is so simple, but it’s something that I believe makes the editor seem less fluent than it could be. Thank you for reading.
Editor 1 has the F2 shortcut for renaming, but that’s one of the things that hasn’t made it into editor 2 yet. As mentioned on the editor 2 page, “Some keyboard shortcuts are either missing or temporary.” In fact that specific missing shortcut has already been reported on the editor 2 issue tracker: https://github.com/defold/editor2-issues/issues/197, so it’s just a matter of time . . .
