Since the last couple of weeks, there have been a few updates to the editor/engine.
Currently it is very hard to find the release notes.
I’ll suggest stickying the latest release note in the forum so that people dont have to search for it.
On a similar note, I’d recommend adding the release notes to every release as a text file and either opening it with the editor on update, else provide a link in the Help > About section. This way they have the RN offline as well.
I think this is a good idea. Although you can filter the forum topics to only show the ones posted in the Release Notes category. @sven is the one usually responsible for posting the release notes. Sven, what do you think above these suggestions?
yeah. While i managed to find the RN in the categories, it did take me a while. I guess a lot of people like me are just not used to this kind of forum structure.
Stickying a few choice threads will help a lot.
I agree, it would be really nice to present the release notes inside the editor. I’ll add the issue id for this to the title, but I can’t promise any timeframe for it.
