Question about apple - not defold related

Heyho,
i know my question is not about defold, but i hope some of you can help me anyway^^

My App will be used by an amount of 30 persons in future. Some of them have IPhones. I already know, that i need a apple development account, which costs 99€/year to install the app on their Iphones.

I now want to know if i am able to install the app on their iphones without using the applestore. Unfortunate i have no iphone, so i can’t test it, but maybe some of you have already experience with that.

Yes, it is possible if you register every phone for development. But you will need to register as a developer ($99) to be able to do that.

Apple’s free developer program allows development towards one single device, and the certificate it gives you is valid for one week only.

Ok.
I guess i will not be able to register every phone for development.
Is there something like a “private” Section in applestore? I will pay the 99$, but i dont want everyone to get my app. Just the one i know.

With Android i simply can pass the apk to them. With apple that will not work?

No. Not without a great deal of workarounds!

My advice would be to make a website that can be accessed from various devices (perhaps with a log in).
