I thought I’d give Defold a look. When I start it, I get errors:
Anyone have an idea what’s going on? Thanks. It just pops up the loading logo which never goes away.
I haven’t had time to troubleshoot as my lunch break just ended and I have to get back to work.

The Linux solutions weren’t relevant to my issue, but someone on the subreddit said they had the same issue and installing it via Steam worked. Tried that and my issue is resolved.

Just to add here. I have had this a couple of times - usually I kill it (or xkill) and starts up ok.
I agree with @WauloK though, using it via Steam it has never happened. Odd.
