Problem with A* asset (SOLVED)

When I add the A* plugin on the project it doesn’t launch anymore.
I created a new project so you can test and see.

No error, no messages, just does not launch.

It built and launched fine on MacOS. I don’t have the Windows box right now but it should build fine.
What is your OS?
Do you have firewall which might block access to https://build.defold.com
Can you try to build with other extension?

Edit: I check the Windows build on Wine. It works too. Also Linux build is working.
Examples are working too.

And if you bundle an exe and run that from the terminal/command prompt? Any output?

I’m using Windows 10, firewall requests sometimes when i launch the game but this time was not requested.
I tried to bundle to windows or web and an error was given:

The same project after remove astar and added another extension (rendercam) was launched fine. I know its a bit weird, so i’m recording the screen showing the entire process, maybe i’m doing something wrong.

I cant even bundle it, error message is above.

I believe this is not something related to native extension itself. Seems like you have some kind of network issue.
This is mostly happens when build server is not reachable. It fails silently.

Did you change the Build Server url? (File>Preferences->Extensions)
It should be like this:

Rendercam is not the same thing. Can you try to build with this extension?

Defold editor preferences

I changed that to build.defold.com and now it’s working.

Glad it works. no problem at all. happening to all of us :slight_smile:
It might be better if there is a warning show up when Build Server url is empty or can’t reach it.
