We’re excited to announce the 3rd Player2 AI NPC Jam — a worldwide game jam all about building unforgettable AI-powered characters. From October 17 through November 7, developers around the globe will compete to create NPCs that think, react, and adapt in surprising ways.
This jam is open to:
- Mods – Upgrade your favorite games with smarter, quirkier NPCs.
- Original Games – Design brand new experiences where NPCs steal the spotlight.
What’s the challenge?
Your mission is to craft NPCs with brains, memory, and personality using the free Player2 API. Make them remember past encounters, develop odd quirks, argue with players, or chase their own agendas. Whether they’re loyal companions, sarcastic rivals, or unpredictable townsfolk, the goal is to make your NPCs unforgettable.
What can you use?
Any engine. Any genre. Any style.
All entries must integrate the free Player2 API to drive NPC behavior.
