Hello! Panthera is slowly improving, thanks for all your feedback.
And now let me write a changes from the last wrap-up (oh, the previous post was quite long ago!).
The coolest thing now is that you are no longer required to download manually the Panthera Editor. Now it’s fully manageable from the Defold Editor. Also, there are various fixes for Windows platform (was some export issues from nested collections/templates), a new example page and the ability to build the game from the Panthera Editor itself (I’m so often pressing Ctrl+B inside it…)

Reworked nested & template animations
- Fix: Fix several cases when nested animations have overlapping keys and wrong behaviour
- Fix:
initial_stateof a nested/template animation is applied when that animation starts, don’t affect before-start keys - Fix: Template time is scaled to the animation key length

Add
Defold Project Tabsat Home screen.- After you open any animation, a Project tab will appear with all Panthera animation files found in this Defold project.
- The previous recent projects list is now the
Sandboxtab. - Project tabs can be closed with the close button, or all at once with
Close All.

Custom Easing Editor.- You can create a custom easing for any timeline key. it starts from the currently selected easing.
- Custom easings are in kind of WIP state, but can be useful for various use cases (for example - shaking).
- You can set the samples count, the exact value of a point, and the visible Min/Max range (values outside 0..1 are supported).
- Copy and paste the easing as a Lua table
{ 0, 0.1, ... }. - Custom easing is previewed in the timeline and in the animation the same way as in Panthera runtime.

Build and Run in Defold.- Press
Ctrl + Bor use the new Build button in the status panel. - The animation is saved and the Defold project it belongs to is built and launched through the running Defold Editor.

Play Region.- Drag with the right mouse button over the time slider to play only part of the animation.
- Right click without dragging to reset the region.

Tto set the play region by selected timeline keys (without selection it resets).

Key Joint Controls.- When you select neighbour keys of the same property, a handle appears between them.
- Dragging the handle moves the time between keys: one key gets longer, another shorter.
- Now only works for the one property at a time (so one key row)

- Timeline keys are sorted in the same order as nodes in the Node List; animation keys are always on top
- Selection is kept between animations by default
