OpenJDK hang while scripting

Hi there,

while I was busy typing in a script, things started to get a bit sluggish, the code completion box got a white background and I then had an OpenJDK hang.

There is no error in the log, only two warnings of the same type, followed by another line that might be of interest:

My system: AMD Ryzen 5600G with integrated Radeon graphics, 16 GB ram, Windows 11 pro. The system runs in power saving mode and is only a few weeks old.

It has happened before - does anyone know what could be wrong and what I could do about it?

Do you mean it happens every time or do you mean it happened once or twice?

Hey @vlaaad,

no, no it doesn’t happen all the time, about 3 times now within … … 3 weeks. I am wondering if this could be related to my system/system settings. I googled the error code in the event viewer, but that one is generic and didn’t help me much.
Ah, and another piece of info: the sluggishness today began when I had 2 scripts open (no other tabs) - and I was unable to close them for a short while. I should probably have saved, closed and restarted Defold as soon as this happened.
