Old tutorials still valid?

Hi,
I am new to Defold and am about to go through various tutorials.

Are the older tutorials, 2 to 7 years, still valid or has the engine changed a lot over the years and most of the tutorials are outdated? If so where do you suggest I start?

Any advice and suggestions much appreciated.

They are still valid. There have been very few breaking changes.
