When you start up Defold for the first time it isn’t obvious to all new users that the “Open project” - “Dashboard” means to open a project you’ve already create on the website. So, it can seem as if it is impossible to create your first project. I think this is extra likely now because of the “Read More” button at the top of the Getting Started page that takes you to a different page to explain Editor 2.
I started the download, then went to the “Read More,” and as I finished reading the download was done, so I just started Defold and was kind of lost for a while.
