Manuals, tutorials and FAQ now on GitHub!

I just published a major update to the defold.com website. Now all manuals, tutorials and the FAQ are being built from a public GitHub repo. All docs have also been converted to Markdown so they are viewable and easily edited directly on GitHub as well.

From each page, there is a link directly to the file in the repo if you wish to make edits and create a pull request.

And thanks to the fantastic effort of @kuimoani we have Korean translations of all manuals. The build system is made to support future language translations.

The repo is here: https://github.com/defold/doc

We are also doing some design fixes regarding styles, colour and typography in order to transition into the community pages (Sticky Iron) we are currently in development of.

If you find anything weird, please holler. Either here in the forums, or through the “Spotted an error” widget which is stuck at the bottom right corner of API ref and Manuals pages.

Good!
Finally I can update easily. Thanks!
When do you change to manuals based Defold2?

We will start changing existing manuals very soon, but I think it’ll take a while to update them all. All new manuals and tutorials will be written against editor 2.
