I Lost My Project (SOLVED)

I have been learning the 2D Platformer Creation Kit tutorial with my Mac Pro. Today I decided to edit the project with my MacBook Pro. I opened the project and selected Synchronize. Now nothing is working and I see error message:

Description Resource Path Location Type
Conflicting output resource 'build/default/base/build/default/main/main_generated_1_generated_0.collectionproxyc‘ generated by the following input files: [base/build/default/main/main_generated_1_generated_0.collectionproxy] <-> [build/default/base/build/default/main/main_generated_1_generated_0.collectionproxy] main_generated_1_generated_0.collectionproxy /CreationKit/content/base/build/default/main line 0 Problem

Did you first synchronize on the Mac Pro?

Yes, I think I did first synchronize on Mac Pro as I always do before turning the computer off after working with it. I’m not at home at the moment, so I have no way of checking that.

I’m at home now. I have synchronized the project just in case with my Mac Pro and MacBook Pro. The project still does not work on MacBook Pro.

Zip the entire project folder and share it with me (Bjorn.ritzl@king.com)

Link to working and non-working versions sent, so you can compare them - if needed.

This doesn’t look right. You’ve probably accidentally copied the project into the base sub-folder. Remove the base folder and you should be all right.

OK, so a newbie error. Aargh! Well, it happens to, um, newbies.

Maybe the Defold editor could give a warning if there are some obvious problems, like multiple times the game.project file or something like that? I’m not posting this to the “suggestions” as I don’t know what the developers think about that.

Yeah, that’s something we should probably want about.
