How to optimize atlas sizes?

In my game I have 100 cards.
Each card has a spinescene and an atlas.
Some atlases are "“half empty” so I can pack 2 cards in the same atlas.

Is there any tool that I could use to help me pack as many cards as possible in the optimal amount of atlases (ie I can’t just pack all of them in a 8192x 8192 atlas :grinning:)

@Mathias_Westerdahl has been working on better texture packing so maybe that would help though your situation sounds more complicated. Can you share visually what’s going on?
