Why are most games built using defold 16 bit? I haven’t seen beautiful graphics apart from sling a kitty
You mean pixel art games? It’s a 2D engine and naturally good for pixel art games so game developers make them.

There are tons of games being developed by people which have yet to be released.

Pixel art is pretty simple to implement, really, which I think makes it very popular with defold (and many other indie development platforms) Which is a shame because I personally don’t like it that much. I basically gave up my first project because I couldn’t get the graphics right, so I understand the struggle.
There are some really impressive looking defold games though (and King’s own games are good examples of how powerful defold is, as well that madewithdefold link)
