For some reason full screening my game makes my update speed triple its usual, it has nothing to do with my frame cap or my vsync, any ideas of how to prevent this from happening
Are you toggling fullscreen from game.project or DefOS?
Do you have a variable refresh rate display (FreeSync/GSync)? Windows applies some optimisations when an app is fullscreen, including probably VRR kicking in.
There is a known bug with variable refresh rate for now. Disable VRR and turn on vsync in your GPU driver settings.

thanks, just to let you know, it works fine in 40,000 htz but not in 60,000 htz
