It would be a nice feature if there is an option to close current project and jump to Project selection screen. If I’m not wrong currently we have to close the editor and reopen to create/switch to another project.

Yes, this is something that we should add, and I believe it’s already in our backlog. You can report bugs and submit feature requests from within the editor using Help->Report Issue
