Easy panning in editor

It would be great to have an easy panning feature for the editor, e.g. by holding space or dragging with middle/right button.

Hello @sicher ,

I know this is an old thread and there is a panning mapped to Alt+ Mid.M.Button.
Since there is nothing mapped to Mid.M.button only - at least in scene view - it will be good if i can pan with only mid mouse button only.
Or an option to choose or configure this setting.
