Does Defold have any internal support for custom URL schemes?

Hi all,
Bit of a technical question here. Can Defold’s core support custom URL schemes?
What’s the best way to go about implementing custom URL schemes into a Defold app (as per this standard)

I would say you should create a native extension.
Each OS handles the URL schemes differently.

It also occurred to me that our Inter App Communication (IAC), which is related, but perhaps not exactly what you were referring to.
