Do You need to be a certain age to publish an app?

I am new to app and game development and so it would be normal to have lots of questions. One of them is: do You need to be a certain age to be able to put a game onto a game store like the App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android?) And if so, are You allowed to publish it with a different person’s name that is older?

Seems like a strange question but thanks in advance!

Yes, you need to be 18. I assume it’s a similar age requirement for iOS.

Yes, I believe so. But remember if you release using an account owned by someone else then the released games/apps will be under control of this other person.

So I would be allowed to put it under the name of a family member, for example?
