As the title says, I’ve been unable to remove tiles in Defold Editor 2 as I have in Editor 1. Unless the process has changed between them I have been unable to do so. I can place, but no hotkey or series of keys will allow me to remove a placed tile.
I would love to blame this on my own ignorance. So if this isn’t a bug, and I’m doing something wrong. Please let me know! For now however, I’m moving back to Editor 1 to complete the tilemap and then just push the finished map to the server and continue in Editor 2.
No, unfortunately it’s not possible at the moment, but there will be a pass on shortcuts later, and at some stage they should be possible to configure.
The option to configure shortcuts sounds like a wonderful idea. The problem I have with Ctrl+Shift+T is that it’s more of a creature comfort problem in one aspect, and a minor productivity issue on the other.
Ctrl+Shift+T is a long way for fingers to stretch. (At least in my case on a Corsair STRAFE Keyboard)
And compared to just pressing Spacebar in Editor 1, it’s two more keystrokes. “Doesn’t feel fluid” is the phrase I’m going for, I think.
But again; Creature comforts, minor nitpicks. AKA My two cents that don’t mean a thing if hotkey binding is in the future. But you asked and I replied.
