I brought this up yesterday as a P.S to my other problem, but this seems too important to leave until later and deserves its own topic.
On my local machine, the model looks totally fine. I’m using macOS.
But on iOS, there’s no soft shadows, instead there are seemingly random dark patches on the model.
I’ve tried this with both the built-in 3D camera with a custom render script that enables model rendering, and I’ve also tried Rendercam. Both of them produce the same result.
What’s extra strange about this is that the 3D project template doesn’t produce these dark patches, it seems to work completely fine. That template uses a slightly older version of Rendercam, which I’ve also tested and produces the same dark patches here.

Rendering is unfortunately not my strong suit. If anyone knows what could be happening here I’d appreciate some ideas.
