Character not found in a font (SOLVED)

Hi there.

I have created a font with Birdfont, exported it in .ttf and it works fine in Defold. But Defold is not able to find the character with unicode 27 (that is <’>). I see in Birdfont and in FontForge that my font DOES define character U27. And I may also see it in the editor with a (Defold)font using it.

EDIT: same with characters <àùèéòì>, Defold does not find them but they are defined in the font and I see them when I enable “all chars” in the font.

EDIT2: I have tested the font at https://fontdrop.info/ and the characters <'àùèéòì> are defined and I can type some text using them and everything works fine.

Any help?

Thanks!

Ciao, Rocco.

Open and save my font with FontForge solved the problem about the “missing” characters!

I don’t know why…
