Tested building DefOS on macOS computer
Build failed: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
Can anyone else test a native extension build?
Edit: Tried again and native extension build worked on macOS for DefOS example.
Tested again on Windows10 and it still doesn’t work. Doing this again
I’ll have to dev on macOS for a while for now until fixed…
I also have the same problem. What’s the problem?
Hopefully can get fixed in a few hours once people are up.
The Native Extension server is up and running again. Please give it a spin!
And, we’re very sorry for the inconvenience, and we are still committed to having a stable work environment for everyone!
Same here… I guess build server is down now.
Could you please help @Mathias_Westerdahl ?
Thank you
Yes!
@jonas.thurfors and I are working on it!
Thank you. May the force be with you
@selimanac The server is up and running again!
Please try it again!
Great It works. Thanks a lot
The server may be down again. I got this error
Build failed: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
Hey! We will look at this in an hour when people arrive at the office. We are also looking into a better long term solution, a server not responding is of course unacceptable. Thanks for the patience!
No problem.
Its time for me to take a bath
Are you still experiencing this error? The servers seems to be OK, also just tried to build the camera extension from my machine and it succeeded.
In case it happens again, could you tell us what extensions you are using?
Seems OK now. Everything back to normal on my end
Looks like it’s down again. Anyone else is having this problem? I can’t even build a simple extension from the example in the documentation.
Upd: no, simply building an extension in an empty project works fine. Repro steps of the problem in the next post.
Ok, here’s the simplest repro steps of the problem that I’m having:
Try building.
Result:
Hmm, well the server is up, but it’s having trouble communicating with one of its services.
We’re looking into it!
