Hello there,
a question for people who run Windows (I run Windows 11 pro):
Every single time I open a project and run it, Windows Defender reacts with its popup:
Once allowed, peace and quiet - until the computer is restarted or Defold closed and restarted.
The “allow app through the firewall” list is littered with “dmengine” entries.
I have of course whitelisted it - still no luck. Not a big deal - but still it annoys me to no end. 
Is there sth I miss?
The editor always deletes and recreates that file on launch so unfortunately I don’t think you can do anything about it

Ah well - keep on clicking away the popup then. 
Just a minor annoyance anyway - apart from the littered list.
Devs, it would be so nice if you could make it go away … pleaaaaase. 
Could I ask you a question as well ? I thought this firewall problem is with me only.
when working within the Defold editor do you notice input delay when editing code ?
Hello @Mega-Ninjax, no, I have no delay when coding or editing code, it just takes a little before the editor has loaded the assets pane. Then, things run smoothly, even with large projects - and I have an integrated graphics card only.
