4 Way and 8 Way top down Starter template for Defold

Hey Defold team,
Would it be possible to get a few more templates for us newbies to get started with?

Namely a top down template with 4 way and 8 Way sprite facing.

This should not take up much time in the grand scheme of things but would be greatly beneficial to people getting started.

Hopefully as this engine finds it ways to many different teams, tutorials will be created both from the community and the Defold team.

Hi Andreas,

Have you done anything in your videos where you create a GUI from scratch and put text on the screen?
If so, could you tell me which one? I’ve watched a couple of your videos, but can’t find anything.
I can’t work out how to do it :confounded:

Hi Deaton. Can’t find it right now but I know I am creating a gui for score when I’m creating that “missile command” clone. Probably the last video in that series.
