I have added version control. I did it by making a repository online copying the files to that and then cloning it through the desktop app (windows 10). When I synchronize the changes I get this popup

Is that the full log? I don’t see any issues in the log.

We need to look into this more closely then. Please create a ticket on GitHub so that we can investigate it.
For now the workaround is to use an external Git tool.

The username and password are used to authenticate you so that you can push you changes to GitHub.
Ok, Is it a new thing is that why it isnt in the manual. It just confused me a bit. i thought id done something wrong
It is your git credentials. Author of the manual assumes that you should know this.
