It became uncomfortable to use the Asset portal, because of the fact that the ratings were removed.
Previously, thanks to the rating, the newcomer immediately saw what assets are worth paying attention to, which of them are useful.
Now it is very difficult to assess the usefulness of the asset.
In addition, some assets were able to test its work online in the browser. Now it is also not available.
Please consider returning the system ratings and inserting a demo.

Yes, we will try and integrate with the GitHub star system.

inserting a demo
This is going to be harder. We could add a link to a live example but it would have to be hosted elsewhere.

Stars are now shown on the asset portal overview and on each asset page. The stars are updated hourly from GitHub using the GitHub star system.

Defold is a multi-platform game engine that simplifies development of 2D games for all major platforms – HTML5, Android, iOS, Windows, Mac OS X and Linux
Should have more than 2 stars it’s at atm? Some wires crossed? Looks like these pages are missing html titles.

Not weird. Rate limited API. Will add an authentication token. Correct star count should be available soon.

Thank you so much for your work!
All that remains is to return the possibility of sorting by rating and will be great.

Many of those assets are very useful despite low star count so don’t discount the low star ones off totally!

I think you can embed a star widget on each page too? Maybe including several of those buttons on the asset’s page would be useful. star / issue at least.
