Thanks to the Defold team!

Just want to say I enjoy my time in Defold. My project is progressing well and I’m thankful to the team! I still learn and have a lot to learn but I am generally successful quickly at what I’m trying in Defold. I don’t know that it would be the same in another engine but I really like Defold.

Also just saw this today. We need more of this kind of stuff around!

Cheers!

Thank you for the kind words! What a perfect way to start a Friday!

Yes, the Zenva courses are fairly new. There’s two video tutorials and some written courses. I hope there will be more in the future! @Pablo_Farias, the founder of Zenva, and his colleagues are doing a really good job of teaching Defold!

Well it’s well deserved! The engine is really easy to use. And so far I have not met with a challenge I was not easily able to solve. Of course the community is fantastic and helped me at some points too but overall, things are intuitive and well built, and behave in a logical manner. Of course at time you have to understand some stuff (physics objects interact when in the same world only comes to mind) but this is somewhere in the documentation too.

Keep up the good work and happy Friday  !!

Yes I do! One suggestion though! I don’t know if it was by design but I wish there was a timeline for us to jump to various sections. When you are developing and faced with some questions, it would be great to jump right at the right section. Especially for a comprehensive 2h video!

Didn’t know you were part of the community here. It’s pretty cool! Don’t hesitate to put up advanced courses too :muscle: !!!

Thanks again for the video!

I really enjoyed the Defold tutorials and I hope there will be more.
One thing I miss is a way to get in touch with the tutor. I found a bug and wanted to write to him, but I couldn’t find a way.

We don’t provide one-on-one support, but you can report errors by using the “Report course issue” link in any of lessons, or if via YouTube, just post it in the comments, or post it here and I’ll relay it.
