Problem Launching Custom Editor?

Hi there,

Recently I tried to open .script files inside Defold via Visual Studio Code but it wasn’t successful. After I clicked on the .script files, the icon of VS Code appeared in the Dock. A couple of seconds later a blank VS Code window was showed up and it quit automatically at once.

I believe this is a bug because in the past I was using exactly the same configuration but there were no problems.

I’m using Defold 1.2.187 on Mac OS. The Custom Editor option is set to /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/bin/code and Open File to {file}. (I also tried emptying the Open File option, but this didn’t change anything.)

By the way:

  1. Sometimes what appears in Dock isn’t the icon of VS Code, but the icon of Defold.
  2. If I had already launched VS Code and hadn’t close it before opening the .script files inside Defold, then everything would work well. The corresponding file would successfully be opened.
