Pasting sprites onto a canvas Overview The main reason for this is pasting visual elements to the background so that they persist as they do in reality, eg. blood splats, corpses… of course it doesn’t have to all be violence related; it could be just generic build up of clutter or mess, such as paint, water, rubbish, etc. anything which you can concieve which involves “pasting” sprites onto a virutal “canvas” .
