I added “experimental controls” for both 2D and 3D worlds. This allows the user to simply check a box and Rendy will provide basic camera movement and rotation controls for testing purposes.
Here is what the configuration looks like at this point in time:
The default configuration is for orthographic projections. All of these properties can be edited or animated at runtime. For example, an orthographic camera can be converted to a perspective camera, and the zoom or field of view properties can be smoothly animated.
There are just a few more bug fixes to do, then I will write the documentation and release the library.
