Mouse over Project->Target crashes Editor (SOLVED)

Everytime I have a mouse pointer over menu position Project ->Target Editor crashes, I’m not even clicking it. Crash is just seconds after putting pointer over this menu position. It works fine with Bundle (I can put mouse over and select options)

(How can we reproduce the bug?)
Move mouse over menu position Project ->Target

(What platform are you running on?)
Virtualbox virtual machine
3.19.0-47-generic #53~14.04.1-Ubuntu (32 bit)
Defold Version 1.2.73

Java 1.8.0_05

Was happening the same for previous Defold version (sorry I haven’t noted which one was that

Same for whole Scene menu - crash immediately after putting mouse pointer over it.

I had to start using Windows 10 for Defold only  Waiting for Linux 64 bit, so I can try this

Is there a way for you to get some crash log or some additional information? Defold should write a crash log as well, but I’m not sure where it is saved on Linux.

I will deliver it in the evening. I think it is saved on the current path. I mean the run path

How should I deliver those logs? They are too long to post them here.

Also I have noticed that for Scene menu crash occurs when I click it, not just hover. My bad.

Maybe you can put them on Dropbox, Google Drive or perhaps Pastebin?

Sure I can  Just thought there is some option on forum itself and I hadn’t noticed that.

Problem is gone in Defold Version 1.2.7.4!!!

I have noticed also that Defold editor menu bar is no longer integrated with Ubuntu Unity system bar. Were you changing some settings that might have caused it? Maybe that was the source of my problem. It could be some change on my OS, but this is a VM I use only for Defold, so I doubt a bit.

Ah, good to hear that things are working for you! I don’t think we’ve done any changes to the core of the editor, but I can’t say for sure. Anyway, if you run into a problem again then please post back here again!
