We’re happy to announce that Minit Games has joined the Defold Foundation as a Bronze Partner! :tada:

Minit Games is a brand new platform for a new kind of gaming - instant-play micro-games, designed around short, portrait-oriented experiences, similar to Playable Ads. No downloads or installations - players simply play, or tap to check the next game. Details for the developers will be available in the learning resources on the upcoming Minit Studio creator platform.

As part of this partnership, we’ll be organizing game jams with cash prizes, encouraging developers to create games with Defold for Minit! :money_bag:

Minit Studio opens for everyone on Tuesday 13. October 2026.

If someone would like to have an early access, let me know or DM me and I will share an invite code with you :wink:

The iOS and Android application is already available btw (links to download on their website, or find them in stores)

Minit Studio is now in open beta for some time and some of you even joined the first game jam on Minit!

Games are now in the voting phase, you can check them out here, especially to get a grasp of what types of games suit there:
