Made With Defold Jam 2024

Well, we have learned the hard way that it doesn’t work for us to set a lot of goals for the year. We’re a small team and we have to be flexible and adapt to changes during the course of the year. This year has been no exception. Two examples of things we didn’t anticipate early this year:

  1. The work on C# support was something which came up as a priority during the year, due to demand from users and customers. We are very close to having it working on all platforms now. We need some additional fixes from the .NET team before we can wrap up work. The fixes should hopefully be included in the first feature release for .NET 9.0.
  2. Work on Rive has been given top priority due to recent customer requests.

Partly due to the above reasons we will not be able to announce Xbox support by the end of this year. It is now likely that Xbox support will be announced late in Q1 or early in Q2 2025.

Another thing that we planned to start working on in the later part of this year was improvements to 3D scene editing, but this has been delayed due to other tasks taking priority.
