Hi. Can anybody help me?
Today I update my Editor 2 on MacOs and now can’t run my project or any other (for example publicexamples/examples/screen_shake at master · britzl/publicexamples · GitHub )
while running I got error Launch failed and no other errors are shown

Sorry about that, we’ve apparently merged a somewhat broken change: see https://github.com/defold/editor2-issues/issues/1173
I dowloaded Editor 2 from dashboard and it didn’t help me. Should I wait for a new version?
A temporary solution would be to download an older version and skip the update, I’ll add a link later today unless someone else can help out! @Ragnar_Dahlen @mats.gisselson
Thank you for your help. I’ll wait for a link to an old version
Hello again!
Here is a download link to the version just before the change:
https://d.defold.com/editor2/f0f8705de03e808595901dc5f098db9c118ee07e/editor2/Defold-x86_64-darwin.dmg
Let it overwrite the version you have installed, and when the question about updating pops up just click “Skip Update”.
We’ll try and fix the actual issue next week.

Can you please add a setting to disable auto update?
I accidentally updated the engine twice already while testing the game and tapping different keys (not counting the first time, when I updated intentionally). Game gets broken every time with 1.2.112, so I have to revert to 1.2.111 manually.

@tarnumius Does the engine start but shutdown immediately when you build? Did you have a network connection at the time?
I have the same behaviour. Engine starts ok, but when I’m trying to build project it brings me a message “Launch failed”. That’s all. No other info…

We’ve just reverted the broken commit while we investigate what went wrong, so it should be safe to update if you feel like it
