Latest Defold update not working (FIXED)

Have updated Defold this afternoon to the latest version and it no longer runs.

Splash screen is displayed, can then select project and then Defold exits.

Have reverted to 1.2.188 from Steam and that works ok.

Windows 10. Editor log attached.

Additionally, having reverted to earlier version all my .gui and .tilemap files are reported as damaged.

Yes, unfortunately, I broke the editor a bit.
The new fix is building and is ready in ~20 minutes.

Not sure about the “earlier version”, do you mean 1.2.x?

I can’t open Defold after the lastest update

EDIT:
This version is working for me. But the “update available” link is over there. I’ll stay on this version for now

Then yes, we don’t have that type of backwards compatibility.
Since we updated the .gui format due to the changes in the spine extension, the old editor/bob cannot read those files if they’ve been resaved in a newer format.

The update is now live and I’ve downloaded it myself and verified the behavior is back to normal. (cb4cc11)
