In every update, I have to redownload the Defold

I am currently using Windows 10 with latest updates. Last two updates didn’t work. (I didn’t use Defold before that)
Updates downloaded but after click “Install and restart” I got that error message;
“An error occured during update installation
You probably should perform a fresh install”

It is not a big deal because Defold size isn’t that much. So I downloaded again both times. And it is a bit funny the error message because Defold doesn’t have an installation progress. Just download and use! :slight_smile:

Which folder do you keep Defold at?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Defold

I must start Defold with Administration privillages. I noticed after you ask me the directory

Test moving it to your My Documents folder. Try downloading an older version there and see if it will auto-update.

Yeah, I had proviuous downloads, too. I put in Desktop folder. And it worked fine. For C:/Program Files folders need Defold “Run as administrator”
