Give me some Godot mobile examples other than what's on the defold site

Hello all, it’s problematic to find Defold mobile games. Engines like Godot and Unity always have YouTubers doing reviews on new ones. What about Defold?

Defold is free to use in every project without any need to tell it’s made with Defold and commercial companies tend to hide the engine sometimes, therefore you might not see any Defold logo, Defold loading screen nor information about the engine explicitly.

Sometimes, if you dig into some game that you suspect might be made with Defold, you could find some Defold specific traces.

Defold does not gather any usage data and don’t know anything about who uses their engine afaik, (maybe clicking on Download locations? or some data on Steam?), so we most probably don’t have proper statistics.

Other than this, if only creators brag about the engine used, you can find the game announced here, on Discord, on Twitter with hashtag “#MadeWithDefold” or on Defold’s showcase page. There are a ton of small, indie games made with Defold for mobile specifically (as it’s perfect for mobile) and there are some bigger companies I’m aware of that uses or used Defold in their professional projects like

That’s probably only a fraction of mobile games studios using Defold for one or more games.

If you are also interested in PC market, then Steam DB has some data also:

The “Give me some Godot mobile examples other than what’s on the defold site” is a bit confusing. I suppose you intended to write “Give me some good examples”?

I’d like to also mention Demon’s Hand: https://www.demonshand.com/

And in terms of number of players+revenue, the Family Island is the currently most popular game made with Defold.
